SELECTARC 29/9
CEWELD® CroNi 29-9 S is an austenitic-ferritic special alloy that is suitable for joining difficult-to-weld steels. It has a wide range of applications such as the repair and maintenance of machines, shafts and gear wheels, particularly in the construction machinery sector. It is also excellent for buffer layers before overlay welding and for dissimilar welds between steel, stainless steels or unknown steels. Very good corrosion resistance in damp, sulphurous environments, e.g. in sulphate digesters in the paper industry.

CEWELD® 312 was developed for welding buffer layers prior to build-up welding of armor plates, exhaust systems, high-manganese austenitic steel, and for heterogeneous welding of difficult-to-weld and unknown steels. Another application is the production of tough joints (one layer) of unalloyed or low-alloy, higher-strength structural steels to manganese hard steel and CrNiMn steels. It is also suitable for build-ups on couplings, gears, shafts, etc., as well as for repairing tools. Max. operating temperature: 300 °C
